HONEYWELL CENTER
275 W. Market Street
Wabash, Indiana
Originally commisioned as a community center for Wabash residents, the Honeywell Memorial Community Center was started in 1939, but not completed until 1952. Material shortages and labor issues were problematic during the war. In 1994, a large expansion project saw the construction of a 1,500 seat theatre with additional meeting and conference spaces and a restaurant. Today the center prides itself on service to the Wabash community, with feature entertainers and theatre productions at affordable prices.
